On the heels of the release his new album ‘The Ghost And The Wall’ which landed on Friday via Nettwerk and which we recently reviewed, Ohio singer-songwriter Joshua Radin has announced a 21-date tour of Europe in 2022, which will include six dates in the UK – which these days always feels like a blessing for not binning us off despite the extra paperwork.

Produced by Jonathan Wilson (Father John Misty, Conor Oberst), Radin’s ninth studio album is described as “exploring the walls we build to protect ourselves against sadness and pain, especially this past year. From the lilting vocals of “Better Life,” which details an immigrant’s journey, to the “wistful and lovely” “Goodbye,” about the impulse we have to shield ourselves from intimacy and vulnerability, Radin wrestles with the sense of longing and alienation that haunted us this year, producing the album without ever seeing his producer face-to-face. “It’s a theme I’m fixated on,” he explains. “I’m trying to heal myself and others in the process.”” The album has the nerve to begin with a track called ‘Goodbye’ which is wonderful and which you can hear below.
