Junior Sisk “I’m Chasing Old Memories Down” – with a whiskey chaser, of course

It is surely time for a little classic Bluegrass hard luck bad times drowning your sorrows in a honky-tonk song.  And here’s a perfect example of that genre with Junior Sisk reminiscing over the love that is gone.  There’s a cure though, for someone who can’t “convince my heart she’s really gone“.  What you need in this situation is surety – simply put proof is what’s needed “eighty-six or ninety proof will do” Junior Sisk suggests.

‘I’m Chasing Old Memories Down’ is taken from the album ‘Lost And Alone’ which is released by Mountain Fever Records.  The album features Junior Sisk, on lead vocals and guitar, Heather Berry Mabe on guitar and harmony vocals; Tony Mabe on banjo, clawhammer banjo, guitar, and harmony vocals; Johnathan Dillon on mandolin; Curt Love on bass, and Doug Bartlett on fiddle and harmony vocals.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
