Kadelburg “The Rhine (Der Rhein)” – Flow, river, flow

Here’s something a little different – and that’s a good thing we always think.   Kadelburg are a new band from Sault Ste. Marie, Canada that has been put together by Eric Brombacher (who you’ll recall from Eric & the Soo) and their new song ‘The Rhine‘ is a tribute to Eric Brombacher’s father, and his hometown of Kadelburg, Germany, which nestles on the banks of the glorious Rhine River.  There’s a distinctive xylophone intro’ to the song, which was composed by drummer Dino Naccarato.

Kadelburg are Eric Brombacher – Vocals & Acoustic Guitar, Jon Ferguson – 12 String Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Vocals Dino Naccarato – Xylophone, Drums & Percussion with special guests on this song Hans Brombacher – Backing Vocals (German) and Jessie Poh – Backing Vocals (German).

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
