Loose Music announce series of shows at The Betsey Trotwood

Vital UK-based Americana label Loose Music has announced a string of gigs exhibiting their extensive Americana roster. “Loose Nights” kicks off on Friday, 11th November, with the first show featuring ex-Uncle Lucius frontman Kevin Galloway as the headliner with support from South London troubadour Rudy Blu and with a DJ set from Danny Champ to end the evening. Conor at Loose Records said, “Loose are excited to present the first of a series of Loose Nights. We will be showcasing some of our favourite acts – whether on the label or not – in the salubrious surroundings of Loose’s favourite London pub The Betsey Trotwood.“.

No Depression founder Peter Blackstock described Kevin Galloway in The Austin Chronicle as “one of Austin’s finest singers. His voice is rich, full of character and versatile; he can swing from an easygoing croon to a full-on soulful shout.“. Kevin Galloway is touring the UK to play songs from ‘Secondhand Starlight‘ – his second solo album, following a productive decade-and-a-half run as the charismatic frontman of the Austin, Texas combo Uncle Lucius. “I’m very comfortable being on my own,” says Galloway. “I’m enjoying the more intimate shows and the opportunity to dig into the stories behind the songs. I’ve always gravitated towards songs that I can connect to on a personal level, so this is perfect for me.“.

The second night (Date TBC) headliners will be Legends of Country. You can buy advanced tickets here.
