Maverick Festival 2019 adds further names to the line-up

We leave you this weekend dear reader with news of one of our favourite long-running americana festivals (one of the originals as it were) Maverick which takes place Friday 5th-Sunday 7th July at Easton Farm Park, Woodbridge and showcases music from both sides of the Atlantic.

The line-up is already impressive with acts such as I See Hawks in LA, the Brother Brothers and Don Gallardo, and they’ve now added new names including London based five-piece Dana Immanuel & the Stolen Band, a banjo-whacking, guitar-shredding, fiddle-sawing, foot-stomping, whiskey-soaked, all-female outfit; transatlantic psychedelic rock & roll combo One Eleven Heavy – who will be bringing cosmic Americana and hard rock exploratory jams to the line-up; and  the return of the queen of Southern gothic rock Hannah Aldridge who will bring the blues from the Mississippi Delta to the dusty, dixieland jazz of New Orleans.

Tickets start from £85 for the weekend. Head to the official site for more details. Have a good one!
