The UK’s first and some would argue finest Americana festival has announced its full lineup for 2024. The festival will take place from Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th, showcasing artists from both sides of the Atlantic and beyond. The barns and fields of Easton Farm Park in rural Suffolk will once more be transformed into a festival site offering six stages indoors and out, presenting an array of music, dance and masterclasses that have been attracting festival-goers since 2008. Building on the existing pre-announced roster which includes The Sadies, Diana Jones, Todd Day Wait and Michele Stodart, the festival has also added Country Roots duo Wild Ponies, rising star Lizzie No and Portland’s own triple-threat Jerry Joseph to this year’s lineup. Organisers will also be serving up a Cajun special, featuring a dance workshop and some of the UK’s best and brightest in the ever-burgeoning Cajun and Zydeco scene. This year’s festival tribute will be dedicated to the late and great Robbie Robertson, with artists across the board already set to contribute. As a festival Maverick has been at the forefront of establishing the Americana scene in the UK since before the genre was christened, co-founding the Americana Music Association UK and hosting established artists like Mary Gauthier, Justin Townes Earle, Sierra Hull and Billy Bragg whilst championing many like Yola, Larkin Poe and Gwenifer Raymond early in their careers.
Weekend tickets with camping start from £165 and there are day tickets along with discounted rates for young people if they can find any who enjoy Americana! Full details over on the Maverick website here.
