Sheffield songwriter Neil McSweeney returns next month with a new album “A Coat Worth Wearing” which is produced by noted folk producer Andy Bell and his first release for the new Hudson Records label, which also gave us The Furrow Collective’s Wild Hog late last year. The release is accompanied by a video for the track Land Of Cockaigne which you can have a gander at below. Neil will be playing a series of dates in support of the release, the first of which, at The Biddulph Arms in Stoke on Trent, will feature his occasional trio Gluepot, which also includes MG Boulter and The Furrow Collective’s Lucy Farrell.
