Aoife O’Donovan, the artist with probably the highest vowel-consonant ratio of any modern performer, has songs which Mojo describes as “frequently sun-kissed and feather-light, but [they] often develop a dark beauty.” Her most recent album “In the Magic Hour” which was released last year has garnered some rather impressive reviews and she’s now announced a brief run of dates to promote it, kicking off in London and winding its way round our fair isles before arriving in Dublin a week later.
