The first wave of artists and chefs have been announced for the inaugural Black Deer In the City festival, taking place at Tobacco Dock in London on 25th and 26th October 2025
The weekend line–up will include Frazey Ford, Chuck Prophet & His Cumbia Shoes, Kyshona, Sam Outlaw and Hannah Aldridge, as well as London’s desert rockers, Steak. Other artists confirmed to perform are Toby Lee, The Wandering Hearts, Robert Vincent, Los Pacaminos featuring Paul Young, Hans Chew, Dylan Earl, Rachel Croft, Logan J Parker, Ags Connolly, Hannah ,Morganway, Alex Francis, Savannah Gardner, The Outlaw Orchestra, Keiron Marshall, The Sonic Gypsy, Katy Hurt, Brooke Law, Dom Glynn, Samuel Ashton & The Instincts and Phil Hooley.
Black Deer In the City will host across three stages that include Black Deer Live, Haley’s Bar and the Roadhouse (curated by London’s Desertscene). The Live Fire stage will see flame-cooked BBQ demos and masterclasses from celebrated chefs and pitmasters, as well as chilli and hot dog eating contests for those who dare to take part. The confirmed chef line-up includes Dr BBQ (aka Ray Lampe), matblak, Marcus Bawdon, Genevieve Taylor, Nick Weston, Melissa Thompson, Shane McBagley and Mursal Saiq. Other attractions include bars, street food, retail emporium, fashion shows, DJ’s, dance hall, custom motorcycles and trucks and a tattoo parlour.

Entry prices for Black Deer In the City start at £84 (plus booking fee) for general day tickets. We are told the day splits will not be announced until the end of June. Weekend tickets and VIP are also available, but numbers are limited. Details can be found here.
