Here’s a new song by Toronto-based singer-songwriter Oliver James Brooks. Following the October 20th release of his latest single, Brooks has released the music video for ‘How It’s Goin’, taken from his forthcoming album ‘In A Little Long While’, out this month. Shot on Super 8mm film throughout August, Brooks along with his friends and family captured the good moments, and some of the bad. “I think it’s important to be real and authentic in what is shown these days, seeing as most things are heavily curated,” Brooks explained. “Believe it or not, without even planning for it, I had many ups and many downs and August turned out to be a life-changing month for me.” Back in 2021 we described his latest release ‘Storm Chasing’ as ‘hypnotic’ and it’s good to see he’s still hitting the spot for us with a really sonically creative but melodic song.
