The Red Rooster Festival has announced its full line-up for this year’s festival which takes place 28th-30th May 2026 and, as usual, it digs deep into roots, rock and Americana. The festival is set against the sweeping parkland of Euston Hall in Suffolk, where, beyond the formal gardens, throughout the wild meadows, woodlands, and by the lake, the festival has, over the years, become a magical weekend escape.
The three main headliners are: Memphis force of nature Valerie June, bringing her celestial blend of Appalachian folk, soul and psychedelic country, gothic-Americana pioneers The Handsome Family spinning their dark desert ballads, and the previously announced Bobby Rush bringing decades of juke-joint wisdom to the Suffolk countryside.
Americana UK readers will find plenty on the bill to tickle their palates, including garage-rock preacher Jon Spencer and folk troubadour Will Varley’s stories from the road. Country vibes come courtesy of Kassi Valazza, powerhouse vocalist Kezia Gill, and blues-punk duo Left Lane Cruiser.
Expect vintage swing from Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra, gritty Chicago blues via The Cinelli Brothers, and beatbox-blues brilliance from Son of Dave. On the smaller stage, you can catch Imogen Clark, Patrick Sweany, Lucca Mae, the incomparable Jack Browning, and the high-octane blues-rock of Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse.
There is also the small matter of Acantha Lang, Maya Lane, The Shadracks, The Washboard Union, Red Hot Riot Big Band, Lassie, Sweet Giant, and garage-soul firecrackers Mama Oh No.
Rounding out the list of acts are Morten Valence, UK country torchbearer Ags Connolly, roots collective Jazmine Banks & the Wildhearts, rock ’n’ roll renegades The Dirty Strangers, plus Ryan Evans, the always excellent Rainy Eyes, Satellite Inn, Rob Corcoran & The Necessary Evils, Motel Sundown, Elaine Palmer, George St. Claire, Holman Hilts & Delaney and Samuel Taylor.
The festival offers a whole range of Southern-style hospitality and activities, too. Expect long table banquets, BBQs, wild swimming, a full kids’ activity programme, hot rod and motorcycle display, poker lounge, craft beers and bourbons, food stalls with a cajun slant, luxurious boutique camping and more.
Tickets are on sale now, just £154.50 for the entire weekend, including camping, parking and a weekend of revelry and relaxation. Kids under 12 go free. You can find tickets at this link.
