Suffolk’s Red Rooster Festival has announced the first round of acts for its 2026 iteration. As the festival heads towards its 12th edition, it continues to celebrate the best of authentic country, soul, blues and rock ‘n’ roll. As ever, it will be taking place in the stunning landscape of Euston Hall, Suffolk, running from 28th to 30th May 2026.
First up is Mississippi blues legend & Grammy winner Bobby Rush, who will play a full band show on the Red Rooster main stage. The organisers are expecting Rush’s high-energy show to blow the roof off Red Rooster! Rush is something of a force of nature who remains the oldest living and performing bluesman in the world, touring relentlessly.
Another US act, American underground icon Jon Spencer, makes his welcome return to a UK festival stage and first time at Red Rooster. Spencer wrote the book on punk blues and reinvented rock & roll with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion in the 90s. He arrives at Red Rooster with his new power trio, joined by Spider Bowman and Kendall Wind of Woodstock punks The Bobby Lees.

Vermont’s maverick Sam Amidon brings his off-kilter take on americana. Fresh from the release of “Salt River” and appearances on “Later… with Jools Holland”, Amidon weaves banjo, fiddle and guitar around an unmistakable voice – tender one moment, gloriously unhinged the next.
From Indiana, Left Lane Cruiser bring their riotous hillbilly punk-blues. Channelling the North Mississippi hill-country tradition of R.L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough, their swampy slide guitar and pounding rhythms promise a late-night blowout.
International blues torchbearers The Cinelli Brothers make their Red Rooster debut. Raised in Italy and now London-based, Marco and Alessandro Cinelli lead one of Europe’s most exciting live blues outfits. New Orleans-born Acantha Lang brings her powerful soul to the festival. With a voice compared to Aretha and Gladys Knight, and chart success on both sides of the Atlantic, Lanf delivers modern soul with deep Southern roots.
Other acts announced include Sweet Giant (psychedelic rock ’n’ roll), Australia’s Imogen Clark ( big-hearted americana), the UK’s Lucca Mae and Norfolk favourites Mama Oh No.
Acknowledging these are difficult economic times, Red Rooster seeks to offer one of the best-value festivals, with relaxed and friendly vibes for all ages. Discounted Weekend Tickets are currently £125.50 + booking fees. Kids of 12 & under go free, and special teen ticket prices apply.
