That’s it from us for another week dear reader and we leave you with a brand new song from the lovely Teenage Fanclub who this week announced their new album ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ which is due out 22nd September via their own label PeMa in the UK/Europe and Merge in the US. To accompany the announcement the band have shared a video for lead track and album opener ‘Foreign Land’ shot by longtime collaborator Donald Milne which you can view below. Additionally, Teenage Fanclub have announced an extensive touring schedule throughout the summer and autumn, including a full UK tour in November, the dates of which can be found here. Norman Blake said of ‘Foreign Land’: “The song is about moving forward, not dwelling on the past. We shot the video in Hamilton Mausoleum, near Glasgow. Given that the album is called Nothing Lasts Forever we thought it would be appropriate to shoot a video inside a tomb”. Have a good one.
