Something for the weekend: Peter Bruntnell “You’d Make a Great Widow”

That’s it for another week dear reader. The track we leave you with this week we’ve technically run on the site before, in Keith Hargreaves’ Shed column a couple of weeks back. First time I saw the title I thought it was called ‘You’d Make a Great Window’, maybe an allegory for some insincere bastard (“you can see right through them” etc.) Anyway, it’s not, it’s called ‘You’d Make a Great Widow’ and it’s taken from Bruntnell’s new album ‘Journey to the Sun’ which is out today – our review is coming up shortly but, spoiler alert, it’s great. And aptly titled given the weather this weekend – only in the teens here in Liverpool today but as we keep reminding people, it’s grim up north! Don’t forget the SPF – have a good one.
