Sturgill Simpson announces UK dates for 2020

AUK favourite Sturgill Simpson has announced a 9 date European tour, with his full band, including London’s O2 Forum on 28th January.  The tour will follow the release of the singer-songwriter’s new album ‘Sound & Fury’ and its accompanying Netflix anime film, which will be released simultaneously on 27th September.  Presale starts at 9am on Wednesday 18th September, with general on sale starting on Friday 20th at 9am.
 ‘Sound & Fury’ is Simpson’s fourth full-length release following his self-produced 2016 album, ‘A Sailor’s Guide To Earth’ which garnered rave reviews from The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Pitchfork, Salon, Billboard, The Atlantic, Paste, SPIN, American Songwriter among others.  Earlier this summer, Simpson unveiled a brand new track ‘The Dead Don’t Die,’ the original theme song for the film of the same name, written and directed by Jim Jarmusch.
