The Burning Hell hit the UK for (more) dates

The Burning Hell is the ongoing musical project of songwriter Mathias Kom and multi-instrumentalists Ariel Sharratt and Jake Nicoll, along with other sometime comrades and collaborators, a band for which we have a soft spot here on AUK, and they are back in the UK for the second round of shows playing songs from their latest album ‘Garbage Island’ “visiting the places we missed last time.” The band are touring with two supports: their drummer Jake Nicoll, playing a set of his own songs, and longtime friend, frequent collaborator and one of Canada’s finest lyricists, Steven Lambke (ex-Constantines and founder of You’ve Changed Records). We reviewed that latest album in rather glowing terms last year, awarding it a 9 out of 10 and describing it as “an album of infectiously joyful music and trademark razor-sharp, droll but insightfully devastating lyrics.”

All tickets are available via their official website here, although best get your skates on as most are sold out!
