Welcome to the penultimate performance of The Twang Factor 3. The final act will perform next week before an AUK panel then convenes to choose our winner.
This week’s guest is Rob Clamp, a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Southampton. The song that has chosen to perform for us, ‘Wind in My Hair’ was his first single released in 2020. Rob has been inluenced by Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty as well as more contemporary songwriters such as Ben Howard. Rob is blessed with an outstanding voice which he can adapt to differing styles within his music from pop through to folk and roots. He is beginning to establish himself on the folk circuit and last year won the ‘Purbeck Rising’ award at the Purbeck Valley Folk Festival 2022.
