‘Gone‘ is a new song from London based Xavier Collins which is available everywhere from tomorrow but can be heard first right here on Americana UK today. It’s taken from his new EP ‘Coastlines‘ which will be out in April, and which was produced by production duo Wayward. It open’s as a very restrained pairing of guitar and vocal and moves through a landscape of loss and grief – and draws on Collins’ own experiences for its emotion.
This first release sees Xavier Collins reconnecting with music, spurred in part by the pandemic preventative lockdowns of the last couple of years having previously lived a globetrotting life as an entrepreneur, as an early employee of Deliveroo and then with his own business in the UK.
