Video: Fine Lines “On the Town”

Well after the trauma of the last 24 hours, this is something nice to go out with for the week dear reader. Fine Lines is a seven-piece UK band that plays roots-infused Americana, their debut album ‘Hour Of Need’ receiving fairly glowing reviews on its release back in 2017. Their sound has echoes of Dylan & the Band, Mercury-era Rod Stewart and Bruce Springsteen and among a ray of talented musicians includes a little known presenter you might have heard of, Mark Radcliffe on drums (and do please send in your drummer jokes). The new album ‘Gaslight Roses’ was largely written by the songwriting partnership of band founder David Boardman and Radcliffe, and this track ‘On the Town’ with its infectious melody and perfectly pitched arrangements is a perfect example of what makes us think they’ll go places. Have a good one, and keep on fighting the good fight.
