So it’s 2022 and what better way to start it than becoming an americana “influencer” of all things videos? We’re seeking a writer who can help with the wealth of video content we get sent on a daily basis – you’ll be working with our Videos Editor Andrew in order to produce content for the site (just to be clear, this is write-ups of videos, not creating them!) and we estimate it should only take up an hour or two of time each week. Your only qualification needs to be that you can write perfect English (or as perfect as we can, which maybe we should rephrase “half-decent English”) and that you get where we’re at – the kind of left-field end of Americana rather than, say, Chris Country’s version of it. As with all our roles, there’s no remuneration as such but you do get a nice shiny AUK email address which gets you into all kinds of places – literally any Wetherspoons in the country – and you get to join a nice team who write for AUK for the love of Americana. If you think you can help out, please drop us a line via the contacts page. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
