“There are worse things in this world than – you just ain’t seen nothing / there are souls whose darkest deeds make you wish you could forget” sing Track Dogs on this Tijuana-flavoured song that sounds like it has dropped out of a Tarantino movie, or maybe the soundtrack to the Zombie Apocalypse. Strange then that this Spanish based band consist of two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American, (Garrett Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown & Robbie K.Jones). Formed in the Autumn of 2006 in Madrid around the eclectic line-up of acoustic guitar, electric bass, trumpet and cajón, over the following 15 years they have added banjo, ukulele and mandolin as well as honing their four part vocal harmonies.
‘The Way Of Things‘ is taken from their tenth album ‘Blind Summits & Hidden Dips‘, a title taken from roadsigns on the way to Whitby, but also is a comment on the way of the music business with its unexpected ups and downs.
