Louisiana based singer-songwriter Tom Andes mines 90’s nostalgia in the video for his new song ‘Static on Every Station’.   Written twenty years ago, Andes unearthed the song to record it with a current sound.    The singer is seen performing on his own as scenes of the characters in the song play out the narrative of the lyrics.

Andes describes making the music video, “I wanted to capture that sense of looking back on something, so we went for a 1990s nostalgia vibe. I gave a loose dramatic scenario to the actors, Chase Haislip and Lindsay Larison, and it was really inspiring to watch them run with it. Lewis D’Aubin, who recorded and engineered the song, as well as filming and editing the video, did an amazing job of teasing the narrative elements into the video in such a way that they hint at the story behind the song without making anything too easy or obvious.”

With driving drums and hints of 90’s alt rock, ‘Static on Every Station’ sticks in the listener’s mind after only one play through.  The track is available now on streaming services.
