Kent’s Sorrel Nation announces English tour in support of new record

The Kent born Sorrel Nation will be playing a series of shows in England in late September and October. Nation mixes her original material with covers of Gillian Welch, Fleetwood Mac and Portishead.

She has performed at many well-known music venues across London and the South East supporting artists such as Dave Swarbrick, Martin Carthy, Madison Violet, Gemma Hayes and Tom Hingley. She recently performed on the Kashmir Stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, the Black Deer Festival and tours the festival circuit over summer with The Magic Teapot music venue in her campervan.

Following on from two previously released EPs, the initial “Kids On The Run” and more recent “Walk With Me”, Nation released a new live EP “Thirty Summers” on 4th July 2024 (her 30th birthday) and will be releasing the studio album “Lost En Route” on 4th October 2024 with a trio/band tour to support the new release.

She has been co-writing with Steve Balsamo and released a single ‘Life Has No Reason But Love’, a song about mental wellbeing for Mental Health Awareness Week which took place earlier this year. You can see the video below.
