Marty Bohannon “Fall City” – all has changed

It’s no real surprise to find that Chattanooga Tennessee’s the Bohannons are headed up by brothers Marty and Matt Bohannon (that’s Marty on the left and, yeah, you’ve guessed it, Matt on the right in the above picture) and they’ve been doing so for some twenty years or more.  After the release of the band’s last album ‘Night Construction‘ in 2023 the brothers decided to try something a little different – recording and releasing solo albums.  They both have a release scheduled for February 28th, and today’s song choice comes from Marty Bohannon’s album ‘A Scar Is Born‘.

‘Fall City’ sees the world turning upside down as “me and you against the world” becomes “the world and you against me“.  It’s a hard feeling.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
