The Wandering Hearts are set to embark on a special tour in 2026, celebrating one of the cornerstone albums of Americana. Following the success of reinterpreting “Déjà Vu” by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young earlier this year, the band will perform the seminal 1970 record in full, as well as a set of classics from era-defining artists including The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, The Hollies, and America. You can hear a cut from the album below.
Released in March 1970, “Déjà Vu” is widely considered to be a musical high point in the careers of all those involved, blending intricate harmonies, socially conscious songwriting, and genre-defining musicianship. Featuring songs such as ‘Teach Your Children’, ‘Helpless’, and ‘Our House’, the album cemented Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young as one of the most influential groups of their era, shaping the sound of a generation.
The band has been championed by Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2, and the trio of Tara Wilcox, Chess Whiffin, and AJ Dean have twice reached No. 1 in the Official Charts’ Americana Chart and been nominated for Album Of The Year at the UK Americana Awards. They’ve shared stages with the likes of Tom Petty, Eagles, Robert Plant, and John Prine, and most recently, in the States in 2024, with Lissie.
They say of the album ‘The three of us have always loved the record as it came from a time and place in music that we all grew up loving. It is SO of its time and also so ahead of its time. As a vocal harmony group, we have always held CSNY in the highest of esteem and admired their complex and soaring vocal arrangements as well as songwriting.’
