Nashville band Sour Ops, led by Price Harrison, have an album and EP to their name as well as two hands (but no thumbs) of singles that were released through 2020. Sour Ops pulls in all kinds of power pop influences – you might hear REM, you may find a hint of Bolan. And on this particular release there’s a glistening glamour of pedal steel and the added joy of backing vocals by Shaun Murphy – of Little Feat / Bob Seger / and…err…Meatloaf fame. Well, two out of three ain’t bad.
