AMAUK Award nominee Julian Taylor to tour UK and Ireland

Toronto singer-songwriter, 4x Juno nominee, and UK Americana Music Awards nominee Julian Taylor has announced his return to the UK & Ireland in early 2025 following a year of European shows celebrating the release of his latest album “Pathways”.

“Pathways” was co-produced by Taylor and Colin Linden (Emmylou Harris, Bruce Cockburn, Blackie and The Rodeo Kings), and finds Taylor embracing a “simplify” theme in his writing while showcasing his range as a writer and performer. Reviewing the album for Americana UK, Fred Arnold summed it up with “Another fine recording by this Canadian folk-blues singer-songwriter, an AUK favourite, on something of a roll.”

This is exemplified on the album’s standout title track which features Grammy winner Allison Russell and has been nominated for the UK Americana Music Awards in the International Song of the Year category.  You can see the video for ‘Pathways’ below.

Tickets are now on sale for a series of upcoming live performances in the UK and Ireland in 2025, including festival showcases at Your Roots Are Showing (Jan 16, Killarney), UK Americana Music Week (Jan 21, London), and Celtic Connections (Jan 29, Glasgow), as well as multiple headline and support dates.
