Railcard’s new single from their debut album Two Steps At A Time, is a softly sunny power pop take on a common problem – the unreasonable person who lives next door. Tell us about it. Although Rachel Love maybe has it worse as he complains that, she sings, “he can hear me changing my mind.” That is, perhaps, taking it just a little far.
Who are Railcard? Well – tha band formed in 2025 when Rachel Love (Dolly Mixture), Ian Button and Peter Momtchiloff (Heavenly) met at a gig, realised that they were exactly the same age, and decided that this was an excellent reason to form a new band. They recruited their fourth member: Allison Thomson (Trash Can Sinatras, The Love Band), whose flawless trumpet and swirly keyboard-playing complete the Railcard sound.
