Avett Brothers’ albums soar in US following HBO documentary

Days after the HBO debut in the States of the documentary “May It Last: A Portrait of The Avett Brothers”, the Avett Brothers’ latest album “True Sadness” has leapt up to #3 on the iTunes Album Chart and #1 on the Rock Albums chart (you can check out a trailer for the documentary below). Since Monday five of The Avett Brothers albums have jumped back onto the iTunes Overall Top 200 Albums Chart including “I And Love And You, The Carpenter, Magpie and the Dandelion, Live, Volume 3″ and “True Sadness.”  If you’ve never heard them, they’re basically sweet bone crushing heartache in the form of a band.
