The line-up for a new comedy and music festival in the American Museum and Gardens in Bath has been released. Called simply “Americana Fest”, the weekender will include a star-studded selection of American ex-pat comedians, and some top Americana music acts across four stages. Coinciding with American Independence Day weekend, the event celebrates classic cars, bbq, craft beer, comedy and music and even a beatboxing workshop for children. The lineup, curated by Matt Owens of Noah and the Whale, includes Robert Vincent, Fellow Pynins, Ethan Johns and his band Black Eyed Dogs, Declan O’Rourke, Treetop Flyers, Lady Nade, Peter Bruntnell, Beth Rowley, with The Magic Numbers closing the weekend. Comedians include the acerbic Reginald D. Hunter, Abigoliah Schamaun, and Erich McElroy.
Executive Chair of the American Museum & Gardens, Gareth Thomas, says, “We are extremely pleased to announce our new AMERICANA FEST over the Independence Day weekend. More than 30 exciting Americana musicians and bands will join a line-up of American comedians, to bring the very best entertainment to Bath over three days from 1 July. We hope and believe AMERICANA FEST will become a highlight in the city’s cultural calendar.”
