Jeremie Albino is a Canadian singer-songwriter whose most recent album, “Our Time In The Sun” released on the Easy Eye Sound label was warmly reviewed by AUK’s Peter Churchill, who awarded it a very respectable 8/10 rating. Albino has announced UK and European tour dates, which start in April 2025 and will see him play songs from his latest record to audiences this side of the Atlantic.
Albino shares, “I’m really excited to be getting back to Europe and the UK. I’ve had such a great response to the album, and I can’t wait to play these songs live and connect with my fans across the pond. I’m also looking forward to playing some cities I haven’t been to before!”
An impressive performer who’s shared stages with everyone from Orville Peck to Sierra Ferrell, was joined in the studio, alongside collaborators like The Dap-Kings’ Tommy Brenneck, Pat McLaughlin (John Prine, Johnny Cash, Charley Crockett), Tom Bukovac (5x Music Row Guitarist of the Year), Little Barrie’s Barrie Cadogan, The Heliocentrics’ Malcolm Catto and Bobby Wood (Wilson Pickett, Dusty Springfield, Marcus King). The recording was presided over by Dan Auerbach who said of Albino “[he’s] a dream…he’s so talented, comfortable with who he is – he’s able to put everyone in the room at ease and bring people together with his music.”
He has grown as a performer with live shows that grew steadily from passerby to packed rooms. Those performances have reached even higher heights of late, like at September’s Easy Eye Fish Fry in Nashville, where Albino was joined on stage by a backing band of Auerbach and Patrick Carney (Black Keys), Nathaniel Rateliff and Black Pumas’ Adrian Quesada.
Albino started the year by making his US national TV debut performing on CBS Saturday Morning. You can watch him perform the album’s title track below. The tour dates are listed below, and you can find tickets here. Tickets are available from this link.
