Or, as we like to call this surely near all day mini-festival: Convention Poe-Pop. Actually, scrub that, it sounds like the TellyTubbies (ay-O). But it would take a curmudgeon of monumental proportions to not be excited at that line-up – and it really isn’t that unlikely. Recall that Alice Cooper played the Croperdy Festival in 2013, so no stretch at all for Iggy Pop, and Larkin Poe are a band just made to share the stage with Fairport Convention at some point. This is less of a Songkick email inspired Dream then, and much more of an Americana UK Nostradamus style prediction. It may never happen, but it really should, shouldn’t it?
Since it’s now a fantasy Croperdy then obviously Fairport have to be on last – so Larkin Poe open for Iggy, and then the “folk boy band” rock the night away.
