On the fourth single from his new album ‘Lonelyville‘ Dusty Wright can be found singing optimistic lyrics to a funereal paced downbeat accompaniment – “we can conquer anything” he claims “if we listen to our hearts sing“. The implication being that whilst that may be true, perhaps there are no hearts singing – or at least not enough to count as a proper duet. As Dusty explains about this song from his Covid inspired album “There were some relationships that collapsed during the pandemic while others flourished. It was truly an emotional test for many, especially if you lived in a very small space.”
