Times are strange and life has changed so much in recent months. Many of us are missing gigs and shows and those opportunities to connect with others through the energy of live music. Here at AUK, we’ve been sharing regular ‘mini-gigs’ to help lift the gloom and to let you see some great artists in action. Today, we have three songs from Phil Gammage, beamed from his living room to yours.
Gammage opens with ‘Luck Don’t Pass Us By’, followed by ‘Lonely Street of Love’, his most recent single. Finally, we have ‘Hellcat Maggie’, for which the video premiered on AUK earlier this year. All the songs feature on Gammage’s recent album ‘It’s All Real Good’, his eighth studio release.
Born in Texas but now based in New York, Gammage is a songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player, known for engaging live shows and bluesy, roots style. If you’d like to see more of Phil Gammage, check out his regular streaming shows every Sunday night.
