Former Twang Factor 2 contestant Ian David Green announces new album and festival appearances..

It’s always great to hear from our former Twang Factor contestants and this week we have news of live dates and new releases from Ian David Green, who took third place in our Twang Factor 2 competition last year. Ian was due to perform his successful song ‘Anthony and Cleopatra Head for the Highlands’ live at Celtic Connections. However, due to Covid the festival has gone online and will now feature an interview with Ian and some tracks from his forthcoming album. Ian will be appearing live at the Love Folk Festival at The Atkinson in Southport which takes place on February 11th and 12th. The festival is headlined by the excellent Jon Boden & the Remnant Kings and features a whole host of other great artists.

‘Anthony and Cleopatra Head for the Highlands’ comes out as a single on January 20th with Ian’s second album ‘Songs from the Wheel’ due for release on February 26th. Watch out for our review of the album nearer to its release date. We can’t wait to hear it!

Here’s a reminder of Ian’s performance of his single from the Twang Factor 2 last year.
