Born in Rome, raised in London, Franc Cinelli is a songwriter who sounds steeped deep in English folk traditions – he also acknowledges Nick Drake as an inspiration. ‘Fly’comes from his second album ‘Night Songs’, due out in September. Over finger-picked guitar Franc Cinelli spins a seductive spell of moving on to pastures new “Its the right time of the season Its the right time to pick up sticks and fly” as a response to love turned bad “Its the right time to say / I’m getting out, I’ve had enough.”
