‘Ghost In The Tanglewood’ is the new album by our favourite Ginge at the moment, Wildheart, which we absolutely love here in AUK Towers. It’s a seamless mix of country, folk, roots and rock. As he put it, “While leaning towards country music, my fairly unavoidable accent means that the songs come off less Willie Nelson and more Bobby Thompson, but every lyric is purely heartfelt and every song is as true a story as you’ll ever hear. This stuff has always been in my blood since I was a wee nipper and it’s an honour to finally get it out for people to hear”.
If you can’t get enough of the record then you’re in luck as you can catch him live across the UK over the summer in various forms including supporting the Levellers, Frank Turner and as a headline act. Here are those dates as well as the cracking video for ‘Paying It Forward’.
