Resuming a very successful series, The Twang Factor is back to find the best new and emerging americana acts.
Get amped up! With the competition hotter than ever, AUK is accepting entries for the 4th season of The Twang Factor, a showcase for new, unknown or emerging artists. Each week, we will feature a different artist and publish a video of them performing an original song, along with some information about them and links to their website and social media.
Like to have a go yourself or know someone who might? Here’s how to get involved:
Record an exclusive video for AUK of you performing an original song. Send the link to our email address: thetwangfactor@americana-uk.com. We will then review it, and if you stand out from the crowd, we will be in touch to finalise your entry into The Twang Factor. Chosen artists will have their video appear on the site in one of our weekly slots.
A few things to note:
- This is aimed at new and unknown artists.
- Despite the name, the feature is open to artists working in the broad americana/folk range – you know the kind of stuff we dig.
- Your material must be original – no covers please.
