Heather Sarona “For Me” – let’s be in love, in time

Heather Sarona grew up in a folk/bluegrass world in a small town in the Uwharrie Mountains in North Carolina.  And once she took possession of her dad’s old guitar at the age of 14 then the musical path was set out before her.  And like all the best people she also plays the banjo.  Today’s song was inspired by thoughts of when Sarona first met her husband, after the end of a long term relationship.  It’s taken from her new album ‘Head Above Water‘, which is out on January 28th.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
