Teddy Thompson announces 2022 tour with Rosanne Reid

Teddy Thompson commences touring this month. Son of folk legends Richard and Linda Thompson kicks off his latest tour accompanied by Scottish daughter-of-Proclaimers’ Craig Reid. His last record, ‘Heartbreaker Please‘ came out a full two years ago but during the lockdown heard him produce a series of EPs, each an exploration of epic country duets. Teaming with Jenny Muldaur, Thompson covered the music of George Strait and Tammy Wynette. This EP will be followed up in the Spring with an EP dueting with Kelly Jones performing duets by Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton.

Rosanne Reid, whose upcoming album ‘Horticulture‘, Thompson produced, will open every tour date. The EP was recorded in Nashville by Thompson who, like her, spans both sides of the Atlantic. Her debut album ‘Trails‘ featured Steve Earle and came out last year. The videos for all her releases can be found on Reid’s website.
