Ida Mae “Boom Boom Boom” – Listen

If there’s a sense of classic Seventies rock to this high energy new single from Ida Mae that could be in part attributed to the production hand of Ethan Johns.  Or it could be the guitar work of Dweezil Zappa which adds a really dynamic bridge.  Yeah –  that Dweezil Zappa.  Either way this “no time to waste, powering through it all, grasping my time” tune is a dramatic statement of intent as a first single from Ida Mae’s debut album ‘Chasing Lights‘ which is out July 12th on Thirty Tigers.

Ira Mae also have upcoming live dates in June and July.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
