It’s not the first time he’s done it but let’s face it, our options this year are slightly limited so what better way to ring in the new year? Jason Isbell has announced that he and his 400 Unit will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a live concert from Nashville (if you fancy staying up until 6am – or maybe just go to bed and then wake up at 6am?)
The performance from Brooklyn Bowl Nashville will take place at 8 pm on New Years Eve and tickets are on sale now from here for $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the show. There’s also a package that includes a commemorative poster for $60. Isbell and his band are also asking fans to consider donating to Nashville independent radio station Lightning 100, which has launched a fundraising campaign to stay on the air next year.
Isbell and his wife Amanda Shires performed a show at the Brooklyn Bowl Nashville in May of this year, with Shires saying, “When people put new music out during this time it brings so much good to my life on the daily.” Watch that whole show at whatever time of day you like below.
