If you want a bit of summery rock ‘n’ roll to get you through the winter months, then ‘Daydreaming’ from the Scenic Route to Alaska is what you’re looking for. It’s upbeat, rhythmic fun and the band say the song was: “…inspired by a cold winter, bad news, and the longing for something warm, wholesome and safe – like the love you find in a new and exciting relationship.” The video, directed by Johnny Jansen, explores what it would be like to keep waking up in dream after dream after dream and was inspired by his experiences of sleep walking.
