Michael Nau has been making a few waves with his recent release, since he decided to take the solo path after being a member of the bands Page France and Cotton Jones. His warm vocals are perfect on this latest release – ‘No Quit‘ which blends his folk-leaning tunes with a more soulfully psychedelic feel with the phased and fuzzing guitar layering on a heavy late sixties / early seventies feel. Nice. On the song Nau declares his intentions to never give up although he knows that “I need you so much more than you need me“. That’s heavy.
