After what has seemed like a very long four years Phosphorescent – the band that rotates around Matthew Houck – have finally announced that there will be some headlining gigs in the UK on the European tour. Hold the over the top excitement, because the October tour will only have three such dates, and these are:  October 26th Grand Central Hall, Liverpool; October 28th Brudenell Social Club, Leeds and finally October 30th at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire. New music has also been hinted at – the last new album was 2013’s ‘Muchacho‘ but let’s wait and see on that one.  In the meantime whilst you rapidly get onto your ticket seller of choice here’s a classic track from the past.

Sure, I could climb high in a tree, or go to Skye on my holiday. I could be happy. All I really want is the excitement of first hearing The Byrds, the amazement of decades of Dylan's music, or the thrill of seeing a band like The Long Ryders live. That's not much to ask, is it?
