Preview: Julianna Riolino brings her alt-country rock to the UK next month

Alt Country Rock singer/songwriter Julianna Riolino knows how to capture and highlight beauty before it fades – just have a listen to this track taken from her latest album and tell us it doesn’t give you a warm glow. So we’re excited to hear the Canadian artist’s unique fusion of indie-punk and cosmic-country music on these shores as she prepares to hit the road next month. Fresh from following up fellow Canadian Indie Rock band Daniel Romano’s Outfit, both as a main singer for the project and as a support artist across August and September, Juilanan is returning to the UK (England specifically) and EU on her first solo headline tour later this month.

The tour is in support of Julianna’s successful debut album ‘All Blue,’ released October 2022 via You’ve Changed Records. The album was received well in both UK and US markets, described as channelling “Judee, Dolly and Emmylou on a lustrous, emotional country-rock set” by Uncut – we described it in our own review as a “highly promising solo debut” but we wouldn’t take our word for it, you probably need to find out for yourself.
