Something for the weekend: Paul Kelly “Cherry Tree Carol”

We leave you with the next song in our continuing quest to make AUK readers aware that Aussie singer-songwriter Paul Kelly is one of the seven wonders of the world. Today Paul releases the 2023 edition of what’s become an annual tradition now, ‘Paul Kelly’s Christmas Train’. The 2023 digital edition of the album features two new tracks, ‘Cherry Tree Carol’ and ‘White Wine In The Sun’, the first of which you can hear below – it beats most of what you’ll hear in our Christmas chart this year including Ladbaby (but probably not including ‘Stop the Cavalry’ to be a fair. It’s a close call though.) Take care.
