Sam Outlaw touring in March, new album available to stream now

South Dakota-born, California-raised, Tennessee-based singer-songwriter Sam Outlaw returns to the UK and Europe in March on the back of his third full-length album “Popular Mechanics“. The new album is available to stream online and will be released on Black Hills recordings on cd on March 4th and vinyl in April.

I made Popular Mechanics to show the full spectrum of my musical influences. I love country music, rock, and pop — but mostly, I’m just a fan of good music, in any style. Regardless of whatever genre or category people might lump me into, I made a promise to myself long ago to ignore those labels and really focus on making music that is completely my own. Popular Mechanics is just another side of me.”

The former advertising executive has enjoyed success with “Angeleno” in 2015 and “Tenderheart” in 2017. Sam Outlaw made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2019 after moving to Nashville but like many has had his career paused by the pandemic. This tour will be his first since 2017 and, it is believed, his first time in the UK.

UK tour dates:
March 22 – Hen and Chicken Southville, Bristol
March 24 – Jericho Tavern, Oxford
March 25 – Mid Sussex Music Hall, Hassocks
March 26 – Manchester Academy, Manchester
March 27 – Oran Mor, Glasgow
March 28 – Gosforth Civic Theatre, Gosforth

Tickets for the tour can be found on the artist’s website.
