Much travelled singer-songwriter Sarah McQuaid is commencing a 28-show UK and Ireland tour later this week — starting and finishing in her adopted home county of Cornwall, where McQuaid’s latest album ‘The St Buryan Sessions’ (2021) was recorded live in lockdown at the medieval church of St Buryan and reviewed on Americana UK.

McQuaid was born in Spain to a Spanish father and American mother, and grew up in Chicago.  In the mid-1990s she made her way to Ireland, before moving with her family to Cornwall, in 2007.  She has six solo albums under her belt along with a record by the duo Mama with Zoe Pollock.
