As the old saying goes “never meet your heroes”, although it should probably be widened to “every band you think would be good in your house.” This song goes out anyway to my good friend Barry as some cathartic therapy for a night in the distant past we both endured! Larsen is an African-Norwegian who found his way to americana via records by Gram Parsons, Hank Williams, Neil Young, Uncle Tupelo and John Prine.
